Sable Developing Inc at 11575 Edgerton Avenue Northeast, Rockford, Michigan.

DO NOT do business with Sable homes. My husband and I put an offer in on a home contingent of the sale of our own home in 14 days. It was accepted and the “new home consultant”, who never divulged that he was actually the realtor for the home himself, told both us and our realtor seperatley that we just had to put money down and they would take it off the market for 14 days. We put down $2000 and got our house ready to sell in two days. He told us we did not need to sign anything yet until our old house was pending sale (we know it was our error not to have this in paper). On the day our house was to sell, they accepted a second offer on the house that was not contingent on sale and retracted ours. They were going to let us sell without telling us they were working with others and would have left us with no where to go. They then said they would “help us out” and build the same house on another lot for the same price, which was a “really good deal.” We would not have worked with them anyway, but the lot they offered up was smaller and had an easement for the state to a massive highway billboard( it would be directly in the backyard). I am not naive and I know business is brutal, but be careful in dealing with this company as they do whatever necessary for a few extra bucks (literally). I am thankful, though, that we learned before we signed any legal documents with this scam of a business.
Also, the Karin Nelson who posted on here with a five star review...yeah she works for Sable and pretty sure she is the owners daughter, twisted company.

Thanks for working with us to build a great home. We had minimal repairs needed and they were promptly taken care of. I would definitely recommend Sable!
